| Confirm participation | Wednesday, September 11, 2024 | You will send confirmation of your participation in the program. Once you are confirmed, we will process your GPS Specialist’s contract before the program launches and keep you updated. |

| Hold regular consultations with GPS Specialist | Late September 2024 to Spring 2025 | As you develop your grant proposal, consult with your GPS Specialist to receive guidance and editing support. Consultations can be one-on-one without your Faculty RO, and can be in person, virtual, or by email. Initiating and organizing consultations is the responsibility of the researcher. |
| Check in monthly with Faculty RO (with GPS Specialist) | Monthly (suggested), late September 2024 to Spring 2025 | Review your progress with your Faculty RO (and GPS Specialist), as well as receive technical and budget support from your Faculty RO. Grant Submission Deadlines
The submission deadline for Peer Review is typically 25 working days prior to the Faculty Review deadline, though it may be longer if requested by the Faculty. Peer Reviewers are given 20 working days to review the proposals, then researchers are given 5 days to implement the feedback. Please refer to the deadlines for your Faculty below.
Researchers must discuss their submission timelines with their GPS Specialist and Faculty Research Officer, and confirm the dates with Research Commons (rescom@yorku.ca) by October 11, 2024 (whether the dates are the same or different as those listed below).
Please note that all days from December 25, 2024 – January 2, 2025 are considered holidays, and they are therefore not counted as working days.
