The Toronto Police would like to make the public aware of two arrests made in an investigation into a series of Street Robberies, in the Finch Avenue West and Sentinel Road area.

During the late evening hours of Friday, October 20, 2017, Philip Okeugo, 20, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1) Robbery with violence

On the same evening, Betu Kalala, 21, of Toronto, was also arrested. He has been charged with:

1) two counts of Possession of Property Obtained by crime
2) two counts of Robbery with Violence
3) Robbery with a Weapon
4) Utter Threat

Both were scheduled to appear in court on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Old City Hall, at 10 a.m.

Investigators believe there are still outstanding person(s) involved in the Street Robberies.

Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant.
