York Security Bulletin – Robbery

Toronto Police Service has advised York Security that they received a report of a robbery that took place off campus near the intersection of Assiniboine Road and Troyer Ave. on Tuesday, August 21st at approximately 9:30 pm.

Two victims were robbed of their cell phones.  Suspects are 2 males, dressed in black and driving a black, older model, Toyota Rav4 with a spare tire mounted on the back. One of the victims is a York University community member.  No injuries were reported.  Suspects were seen leaving eastbound on Assiniboine Road in the vehicle. One suspect was carrying a firearm.

York Security is assisting Toronto Police Service with their investigation.
