Objective
The Faculty of Science (FSc) is pleased to launch the 2025 Canada Foundation for Innovation John R. Evans Leaders Fund (CFI-JELF) competition. The CFI-JELF competition can be used to retain outstanding researchers and to enable them to conduct their research with state-of-the art infrastructure. For 2025, FSc faculty members are invited to submit applications for an internal competition that will determine candidates who will be permitted to submit CFI-JELF grant applications in either the February 2025 or June 2025 CFI competitions.
Eligibility
- This competition is only open to full-time FSc faculty members with research stream appointments.
- There can be up to 3 FSc faculty members per application – 1 lead applicant and 2 co-applicants.
- There is a limit of a single application per faculty member regardless of the their role in the application.
