Welcome to the Faculty of Science 2+2 / 2+3 Undergraduate International Collaboration Education Programs.


Students interested in joining the program should contact the international office at their home university.

About Science 2+2

Students complete their first two years of university education followed by their third and fourth years of study in Canada. For students participating in the program, course credits are transferred between their home university and York University. Once participating students have met the degree requirements of each university, they earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Art (BA) degree from York University.

The actual length of study at York will depend on the number of transfer credits and the number of courses a participating student takes each term.


BA Program

You can take electives in areas like economics, business, psychology, or philosophy.


BSc Program

You can take electives in areas like physics, astronomy, biology, or chemistry.

Admission

Average grades of 75% are recommended for Mathematics (BA, BSc), Statistics (BA, BSc), Actuarial Mathematics (BA), Chemistry (BSc) and Physics & Astronomy (BSc).

Average grades of 80% are recommended for Biology (BSc) and Biomedical Science (BSc).

In summary, graduates of certain programs are eligible for a maximum of 60.0 transfer credits (equivalent to two years of full-time study) towards a four-year undergraduate degree.
