In collaboration with F. Hoffmann - La Roche, the world's largest biotech company, the Orellana research group has developed a new method to add pyridines to unsaturated ketones. This allows the preparation of valuable building blocks for the synthesis of small molecule drug candidates under much milder conditions than prior methods. View Publication
