Join us on a tour to visit the Allan I Carswell Observatory, which is home to our 1-metre telescope, the biggest telescope on a Canadian university campus.

Come learn about the exciting opportunities available for York students in Biophysics, Physics, and Astronomy. Visit laboratories where students use laser light to slow down, trap, and study atoms normally moving at a hundred metres per second. Visit a medical biophysics laboratory where light is used to probe living tissue and study everything from photosynthesis to eyes to the human brain!
