My goal is to help students raise their mathematical skills, understanding, and confidence from whatever level these are at when they start my class. My greatest pleasure is when students feel comfortable asking questions and when everyone gains something from the subsequent discussion.
Research Interests
Fields represented include topology, analysis, probability, logic, combinatorics, category theory, algebra, machine-proving, information theory, utility theory, and choice functions. My research area since 2015 is mathematical economics – specifically on preferences and choice functions.
