My research is focused on improving the quality of radiotherapy for cancer management. Specifically, materials sensitive to ionizing radiation dose which are read-out through fibreoptic technology can be used to provide feedback on dose delivered. Other methods of improvement focus on computational methods, including use of artificial intelligence, to aid clinicians in their tasks and improve radiotherapy workflows. Finally, linking computational and measured dose to patient outcomes is critical in assessing the overall quality of care.
