I have been extensively involved in teaching university-level biology topics for over 10 years. I place a strong emphasis on working with students to think critically and problem solve resourcefully. I employ evidence-based practices to maximize student learning. I have and continue to contribute to undergraduate and graduate course development, program development, creation of teaching tools, as well as science education research. I am always eager to collaborate with educators, students, and industry to improve biology higher education in Canada.
