Research Focus
Developing new methods for analysis of gene expression data and inference of regulatory DNA motifs in eukaryotic species (yeast, mouse and humans); application/ adaptation of bioinformatics methods for integration and evaluation of high-throughput data in computational projects of predicting transcription factor binding sites, evolutionary conserved protein domains, and effects of RNA secondary structure on transcript stabilities; novel methods for biomarker development based on high-throughput data (proteomics and genomics); physiological models in neuroscience.
