About
Juris Steprans has been a member of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at York University since 1982. He is the author of some eighty research articles in various branches of mathematics, has presented invited lectures throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, and has supervised several Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows. His research has focused on applying set theoretic methods to show that analysis, algebra, topology, and other areas of mathematics are not immune from independence phenomena.
