Biochemical Engineer with over two decades of experience in bioprocessing of residues to high-value-added products, such as biopesticides, bioinoculants, enzymes, bioplastics and biomaterials for protecting the environment. Likewise, I also investigate the fate and transport of contaminants of emerging concern, such as antibiotics, hormones, perfluoro compounds, and microplastics to design clean, lean and green technologies for their removal. The single-word slogan for my research group is “Advanced Value-Addition for Environmental Restoration and Treatment” (AVERT).
