Objective
To fund exploratory projects the successful completion of which would provide preliminary data to support other funding applications either to GlycoNet, or other funding sources.
Eligibility
- This opportunity is open only to individuals who are considered Early Career Researchers (ECRs)
- Individuals who have previously received funding from GlycoNet are not eligible to apply
- Individuals may serve as a Project Leader on only one Catalyst Grant application and may not be involved in more than two GlycoNet Grant applications
Note: Matching contributions of 10% or $7,500 is required.
How to Apply
York University researchers are reminded that all applications for external research funding, including Letters of Intent, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services before they are submitted to the granting agency. For internal approval, the application must be accompanied by a completed ORS Checklist, which requires the Dean’s signature. Please send the complete application, with the finalized budget and a completed ORS checklist to sciapps@yorku.ca, five days prior to agency deadline.
