Objective
To offer two collaborative grants focused on advancing research in new concepts to improve the equity of uptake, experience and outcomes from neo-adjuvant therapy (NACT) in early-stage breast cancer.
Eligibility
Applicant must be a Principal Investigator holding an academic position at a Canadian University, Hospital or Healthcare Centre. Project can be led by a clinician or translational researcher; the research team must include:
- one clinical expert in breast cancer
- at minimum one breast cancer patient advocate or a local Breast cancer advocacy group
- artificial intelligence (AI) expertise for data mining and/or management
- research must be conducted in Canada
How to Apply
York University researchers are reminded that all applications for external research funding, including Letters of Intent, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services before they are submitted to the granting agency. For internal approval, the application must be accompanied by a completed ORS Checklist, which requires the Dean’s signature. Please send the complete application, with the finalized budget and a completed ORS checklist to sciapps@yorku.ca, five days prior to agency deadline.
