Objective
An opportunity for Canadian researchers who reside in Canada to receive funding to aid in project expansion and continue contributing to the scientific community.
To be eligible for the grant, your research project must utilize Next Generation Sequencing and one of the following analytes/sample types: Cell-Free RNA/Cell-Free DNA plasma/serum, whole blood, exosomes, urine, stool, saliva, metagenomics
Eligibility
This is an opportunity for scientists and researchers who reside in Canada only and/or working on their research project within a Canadian institution or organization. Canadian citizens/ permanent residents living outside Canada are not eligible to apply for this grant. All applicants must be primarily responsible for the research described. Employees and immediate family members of Norgen Biotek and Illumina cannot participate in the contest.
Eligible researchers must hold a research position in a Canadian research institution, university, organization or company in order to receive funding to aid in project expansion and continue contributing to the scientific community.
How to Apply
York University researchers are reminded that all applications for external research funding, including Letters of Intent, must be reviewed and approved by the Office of Research Services before they are submitted to the granting agency. For internal approval, the application must be accompanied by a completed ORS Checklist, which requires the Dean’s signature. Please send the complete application, with the finalized budget and a completed ORS checklist to sciapps@yorku.ca, five days prior to agency deadline.
