- Professor M. W. Wong has been elected Vice-President for Americas for a two-year term from August 2003 to August 2005.
- The International Conference on Pseudo-Differential Operators and Related Topics held atVäxjö University, Sweden from June 22, 2004 to June 25, 2004 was well attended by about 50 mathematicians. The proceedings will be published in Israel Gohberg's series ``Operator Theory: Advances and Applications''. The publisher is Birkhäuser and the editors are Paolo Boggiatto, Luigi Rodino, Joachim Toft and M. W. Wong.
- Professor M. W. Wong has been elected President of ISAAC for a two-year term at the Fifth ISAAC Congress held at Università di Catania, Italy from July 25, 2005 to July 30, 2005.
- A new monograph series entitled "Analysis, Applications and Computation" was launched with World Scientific in October 2005. The Editors-in-Chief are Heinrich G. W. Begehr, Robert P. Gilbert, and M. W. Wong.
- A new monograph series entitled "Pseudo-Differential Operators - Theory, Applications and Related Topics" was set up in June, 2006 with Birkhäuser, Basel. The Managing Editor is M. W. Wong (York University, Canada). - Professor Michael Ruzhansky of Imperial College London, England was awarded the ISAAC Award for his outstanding works in Partial Differential Equations and Harmonic Analysis at the opening ceremony of the Sixth ISAAC Congress held at the Middle East Technical University, Turkey from August 13, 2007 to August 19, 2007.
- Professor M. W. Wong has been re-elected to be President of ISAAC for a second term at theSixth ISAAC Congress held at the MIddle East Technical University, Turkey from August 13, 2007 to August 19, 2007.
- A new journal entitled "Journal of Pseudo-Differential Operators and Applications" will be launched and published by Birkhäuser, Basel. Professor Luigi Rodino of Università di Torino, Italy and Professor M. W. Wong of York University, Canada will be Editors-in-Chief and the inaugural volume is being planned to be published in March 2010.

- Professor Michael Ruzhansky of Imperial College London was elected President of ISAAC (2009-11) at the London ISAAC Congress held at Imperial College London in July 2009.
