Ingrid Minott is a senior business lawyer with more than 13 years of international corporate legal experience advising companies in a broad range of industries, including the financial services, professional services, manufacturing and insurance industries.
Ingrid is the Head of Legal & Corporate Secretary for Goodyear Canada Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of a global manufacturing company. In this role, she is responsible for all aspects of the legal and regulatory affairs of Goodyear Canada. Previously, she advised senior and executive management of a large professional services firm while also working with stakeholders at various levels throughout the organization.
Ingrid completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in political science at York and has been actively engaged in the community as a provider of pro-bono legal services, and as a member of various non-profit boards, including Canadian Stage, the Black Female Lawyers Network and Great Lakes Theater.
Ingrid was honoured with the Tomorrow’s Leader Award (2017) at Canadian General Counsel Awards and has been featured in the National Post and the Globe and Mail.
In addition to the analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills that she has developed as a lawyer, Ingrid will leverage her unique personal experiences as a global citizen, woman of colour, immigrant and former York student in fulfilling her role as governor.
