Record of Completion Certificates
The Teaching Commons offers two different records of completion to recognize graduate student’s and teaching assistant’s dedication to the enhancement of teaching and learning at York University. Participants can earn one or both certificates each year.
Record of Completion Certificates for Engaging in Higher Education Teaching and Learning Workshops
Attending any five (5) workshops offered by the Teaching Commons in one academic year (September-August) will earn you this record of completion certificate. All you need to do is register and attend the workshops and ensure you sign-in. Records are kept in the Teaching Commons and you will be emailed your certificate. Certificates are emailed when earned by December if earned in the fall, by June if earned in the winter, and by August if earned in the spring/summer.
Record of Completion Certificate for Supporting Teaching at York
This certificate requires that you attend any four (4) workshops offered by the Teaching Commons in one academic year (September-August) as well as attend the Supporting Teaching At York (STAY) Symposium. All you need to do is register and attend the workshops and symposium, ensuring you sign-in for each. Records are kept in the Teaching Commons and you will be emailed your certificate. Certificates are emailed when earned by June or August.
