York Capstone Day – April 30th
Did you know that Friday, April 30th is York Capstone Day? This is an annual showcase where students across all Faculties at York present their completed capstone projects and compete for awards. And you’re invited!
The event, held virtually this year, brings together faculty, staff, students, and community/industry partners in a celebration of the innovation, creativity, ambition, and impact of our students.
The day itself includes presentations by the students with Q&A, an interactive lunch break, project booth visits for the public, and a pan-university awards ceremony.
This year, the awards being offered include: Outstanding Communication; Outstanding Collaboration; High Impact; and Strong Sustainability*.
There are over 90 student projects that will be part of this great event, and we hope that you can join us in showing our support for all the hard work that was put into these projects, especially given the additional challenges of completing these projects during the global pandemic.
