Effective Strategies for Teaching in a (face-to-face) Lab - Virtual Sept. 16
This informative workshop will address the issues of lab specific challenges for Teaching Assistants (TAs). We hope the workshop will help you prepare pre-lab talks and demonstrations, as well as augment the interest of undergraduate students in the lab. Also, this workshop will provide practical tips, strategies and resources to effectively engage students during the lab, and organize time in the lab. This workshop will provide an opportunity to meet and discuss your positive and negative experiences with other TAs teaching a lab.
This session will be offered both virtually and in-person. They are repeat sessions, so you need only register for ONE, depending on your preference for participating.
