This certificate offers course directors and librarians a flexible framework for further developing your understanding of university teaching and integrating a range of teaching strategies focused on student learning.

You will receive a certificate that is recognized at York and beyond. It can support your dossier as you progress in your teaching career or apply for teaching awards.

Complete an Instructional Skills Workshop
Complete the Course Design Institute
Blended and Online Learning Development (BOLD) Institute
A blog post of your learning/key messages/thoughts/ideas (350-500 words).
- This blog post and will be published on our Teaching Commons “Blogs” page, and will appear in YFile.
For your certification application, you will need to provide:
- The dates of completion for the above offerings
- A copy of your blog ready for posting
