Introduction to Integrated Course Design for Graduate Students: Assessment – Dec. 1
Do you currently have a teaching ticket to teach a course, or are you interested in designing and teaching a course some day? In this workshop we will introduce a specific course design model, called the Integrated Course Design Model (Fink, 2003). This session will focus on one of the components of this model, assessment. During the session you will choose various assessment strategies that align with given learning outcomes, and explore how these strategies can be used in a course to promote both formative and summative assessment practice as well as Universal Design for Learning.
