Service Advisory – Building Network Switch Upgrades – December 28, 6:00 a.m. to December 31, 4:30 p.m.

Please share the following information with your teams.

UIT will be upgrading IOS software on network switches for all buildings from Tuesday December 28^th, at  6:00 a.m. until Friday December 31^st 4:30 p.m. to facilitate a new Network Management tool.  As the work is happening for each building, there will be an outage affecting all wired and wireless services.

Network switches in CUB, DB, Steacie and WOB buildings will be upgraded on Friday December 31^st 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Residence building network switches will be upgraded from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. during the four day window.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this scheduled interruption may cause and thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding.
