UIT is confirming 1 of the 3 domain controllers servicing Active Directory domain and LDAPS services, was experiencing troubles yesterday, Wednesday April 5th starting at 2:53 p.m.
The problematic domain controller, LFC.yorku.yorku.ca was rebooted this morning at 10:06 a.m. to clear the system errors and bring services back to normal levels.
We kindly remind our partners to properly configure services that are dependent on AD DS/LDAPS with the fully qualified domain name of yorku.yorku.ca to avoid service impact, in the event one of the domain controllers experiences troubles.
