Please share the following reminder with your teams regarding 2FA for the Concur Mobile Application.

Phase 1 - October 18 through November 14:

All Concur mobile users will be able to setup 2FA without an email address.
Although a valid email address will not be required, it is highly recommended that during this time each user works on ensuring they have a valid email address. This will be critical to have by November 15.
Once valid credentials are entered, a prompt will occur to start the setup process for 2FA.

Phase 2 (email enrollment) – November 15

All Concur mobile users must have a valid email address on file in order to ensure they can receive a link to set up 2FA in their email.
If there is no valid email address on file, the user must reach out to their admin or Concur Support.

Attached are the instructions for setting up 2FA.

Please share the following with your teams.

Please be aware this update only affects those using the SAP Concur Mobile app and will not impact users accessing Concur via browser. Also note that this is different than the existing Duo (2FA) steps used when logging in with Passport York.

On October 18, 2023, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be implemented for the SAP Concur Mobile App. After this date, users logging into Concur via the mobile app will be prompted to enroll in 2FA. Please ensure you set up 2FA between October 18, 2023 and November 15, 2023.

After November 15, 2023, those who didn't set up 2FA during the sign-in process will need to set up 2FA via a link sent to their email. If no valid email address has been entered, users must contact the Concur administrator at concur_support@yorku.ca.
