Please note we have been made aware of an issue where users cannot open XLSM files attached in journal entries PDFs. 

An XLSM file is a macro-enabled spreadsheet created by Microsoft Excel.  We are assuming that the XLSM generated attachments are safe.  

We will create and share an AD GPO ‘uit-adobe-xlsm’, which you can then apply to your computers.  The AD GPO will be available by Thursday August 20 at  8:00 a.m. 

The AD GPO addresses this issue and allows users to open those types of files within: 

  1. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 
  2. Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020
  3. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC
