MyApps – Minimum client requirements

Timing:

Monday July 10, 2023 8:00 a.m.

Details:

• Minimum AppsAnywhere and Cloudpaging client versions will be set for the MyApps service, per latest client packages available on \\vfadmin.yorku.yorku.ca\UIT-SOFT\distrib\Appsanywhere
• MyApps clients will automatically update themselves to latest vendor releases, if unmanaged
• Users will be prompted to reboot once, after successful client installation
• For UIT managed communities, we will deploy the new clients as of Friday June 30^th, 8 a.m. Users will be prompted to reboot and can defer to a later time if they wish
• For Faculty managed environments, we are recommending our Faculty partners to deploy the new clients to their managed computers, before the minimum client versions are enforced on July 10^th
