Service Maintenance:
Caching service for central WordPress (yorku.ca) is being changed from memcached to Redis.
The intent of this is to improve the general performance of the websites, particularly with respect to the speed.
There will be no outage. This notification is to inform IT Support of the very unlikely chance that this could further degrade performance, resulting in more calls for assistance.
