UNESCO Chair Associate Mark Terry’s ongoing research project, the Youth Climate Report (YCR), has been very successful in the first two months of 2021! Not only did it win an SDG Action Award from the UN, but the YCR has just partnered with one of the world’s most dynamic NGOs, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) in Copenhagen.
Founded in 1981, the FEE established a working relationship with the United Nations Environment Programme. In 1994, it introduced a program with called Young Reporters for the Environment.
Today, the youth-empowering initiative involves 275,000 participants in 42 countries. The Youth Climate Report is honoured to be partnered with this successful group and to showcase their work on the YCR interactive map. Read more about how YCR will join forces with FEE and the Young Reporters for the Environment to “speak youth to power” here.
The UNESCO Chair has a long-standing partnership with FEE in developing learning content and networks to empower people of all ages to take action to transform societies.
