The Events team is responsible for coordinating various events and recognition opportunities hosted by the President. These events are focused on celebrating the accomplishments of the York community, strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders and enhancing the image and reputation of the University.
Examples of the events organized by the team include: Red & White Day, Annual Varsity Athlete’s lunch, President’s Townhall, Circle of Scholars Reception, Retirees Lunch, Long Serving Faculty Reception, and President’s Staff Recognition Awards. The Events team also manages special initiatives like the President’s Ambassador Program, which provides students with unique leadership opportunities to represent York University both on and off campus.
