Dan Palermo appointed Interim Deputy Provost, Markham Campus

Professor Dan Palermo has accepted the invitation to assume the role of Interim Deputy Provost, Markham for a term commencing on July 1, 2023. Professor Palermo previously served as Vice Dean at the Lassonde School of Engineering, where he oversaw all academic matters for the school. 

Announcement of term extension and appointment of new vice-provost academic

Vice-Provost Academic Lyndon Martin has agreed to extend his term in this role until Dec. 31, 2023, at which point he will take up appointment as senior advisor on strategic academic program initiatives for a period of 18 months, until June 30, 2025. Dr. Marcia Annisette will step into the role of vice-provost academic on Jan. 1, 2024. 

Call for applications to Provostial Fellows Program

Applications are due by May 4 and the call is open to all tenured faculty members who are interested in future leadership opportunities at the University. Indigenous faculty and those from equity-deserving groups are encouraged to apply.
