We are committed to Decolonizing, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (DEDI) through strategies that promote inclusivity, address systemic barriers, and elevate marginalized voices at York University.

York U Forward Action Plan aims to advance UAP and achieve financial sustainability through 17 projects in three streams: Program Enhancement, Enrolment Recovery, and Administrative. This plan will shape the university’s future success and position York U for a changing landscape.
Employee Award & Recognition Programs
At York University, service milestones are recognized annually and are marked in five year increments. Service years 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25, are celebrated at the faculty/divisional level, while long service years 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 55+ are celebrated at an institutional event.
