CCWS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

York students are invited to participate in the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS), coordinated by the University of British Columbia (UBC), every three years. This survey gathers valuable insights through questions about demographics, campus climate, academic achievement, mental health, health service utilization, physical health, substance use and food security.

The general results of the survey are summarized in the Executive Summary, encompassing data from both undergraduate and graduate participants registered during the associated academic term. These results support York’s efforts to implement its Well-being strategy and fulfil its commitments to the Okanagan Charter. The CCWS administration at York University was approved by the Office of Research Ethics (ORE), file #e2021-337.
