Struck gold

Several members of the York community have struck gold....

A special Golden Jubilee Medal was struck to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign as Queen of Canada. It has been awarded to Canadians who have made a significant contribution to their fellow citizens, their community or to Canada. This includes recipients of the Order of Canada, some of whom are York faculty or members of the board of governors.

We would like to have a comprehensive list of members of the York community who have been given the Order of Canada and/or the Golden Jubilee Medal. If you have received both or either, please notify us so we can add your name to the following or new lists:
