In order to facilitate the installation of underground electrical vaults, Facilities Development will be closing sections of the Pond Road westbound lane on Thursday, Oct. 17, restricting traffic to one lane at the following locations:
1. Pond Road, just east of Ian Macdonald Boulevard (in front of the PS3 building site)
2. Pond Road, just west of Ian Macdonald Boulevard (in front of the TEL Building site)
3. Pond Road at Sentinel Road

The anticipated duration of the lane closure at each location is four hours. The work will proceed in the order noted above, and the contractor will complete the work in the affected area and reopen the road to full traffic before moving to the next location. The contractor will provide flag persons to direct traffic.
In the event of poor weather delaying this construction activity, the work will be rescheduled for Friday Oct. 18.
