The York Yeomen football team is playing this Saturday, Oct. 26, and the game will be broadcast on the Score Television Network. It is the first home playoff game for York in the program’s 35 year history, says Jim McLarty, sport and recreation information officer in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science.

The Yeomen football team finished the regular season in 4th place in the OUA with a record of 5-3 and will host their first-ever home playoff game Saturday against the CIS number 10 ranked Ottawa Gee Gee's. Game time is 2pm at York Stadium. Ottawa finished in 5th spot with a 5-3 record. York defeated the Gee Gee's 12-9 on September 28 and as a result was awarded 4th place.
