The ninth annual Eco Art and Media Festival, whose theme this year is “at home: living change”, will take place March 11-16 at various locations around the Keele campus, as well as at Foodshare”s Field to Table Centre, 200 Eastern Avenue, and at the Imperial Pub, 54 Dundas Street East.
Hosted by the Faculty of Environmental Studies and co-sponsored by the Faculty of Fine Arts and the graduate programs in Interdisciplinary Studies and Communication & Culture, the festival encourages creative forms of expression by the York and broader Toronto communities. It aims to encourage people to explore and challenge representations of home and possibilities for living together.
All week the festival will showcase visual art, performance art and film/video/new media through workshops, installations and events.
