Come and experience the excitement of the sights and sounds of a pow-wow. The Aboriginal Students’ Association at York (ASAY) will be hosting their 2nd annual Traditional Pow-Wow on Saturday, March 6, from 1 to 5:30pm in Winters College Dining Hall. The theme this year is “Honouring Our Veterans”.
This cultural event will include the following:
- Drum groups, Iroquois water drum and women’s hand drum
- Metis youth fiddler
- Male and female dancers of all ages
- Aboriginal arts and crafts
There is no admission charge. Everyone is welcome.
