Work up an appetite for bagels and beverages at York on Wednesday, June 2 – bike onto York’s Keele campus and join the Smart Commute Association of Black Creek (SC-BC) for its 3rd Annual Bike Week, "Bike Brunch and Ride". Fellow hungry cyclists will gather at the fountain in the University Commons.

This year's event will be fun, informative and delicious! As you munch your brunch, you can view material provided by the Toronto Cycling Ambassadors. Then at 11:30am, there will be a guided cycle tour of the campus, with information provided by York University Development Corporation's master planner.
"Since the start of Smart Commute, Black Creek's focus is on luring people out of their cars and onto more sustainable modes of transportation," said Fred Sztabinski, program coordinator with SC-BC, formerly the Black Creek Regional Transportation Management Association.
"Participating in Toronto's 15th Annual Bike Week is a perfect fit. We want to promote the bicycle as a realistic means of transportation to and on the York University campus, and we want to hear from cyclists how best we can achieve this."

The tour will include stops to highlight recent developments and future visions for the Keele campus, and participants will be encouraged to discuss and explore options and plans. The tour will last approximately 30 minutes. Participants should provide their own safely functioning bicycle and helmet.
