President of the Ontario Genomics Institute visits York

Christian Burks, the newly appointed president and CEO of the Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI), will visit York today. While here he will deliver a presentation to the research community, followed by a question and answer session, at 11:30am in room 237 of the Chemistry Building.

The Ontario Genomics Institute was established in 2000 as a non-profit corporation to foster genomics research in Ontario. OGI is one of five genome centres across Canada working in partnership with Genome Canada to support national genomics research.
