Rob Tiffin to take over as acting vice president students

Further to the announced resignation of Bonnie Neuman (left), effective June 30, President and Vice-Chancellor Lorna R. Marsden announced that Neuman has stepped aside from her role as vice president students effective Jan. 19. She will take up the completion of several special projects and will report directly to Marsden.

Assistant vice-president enrolment management and registrar Rob Tiffin (right) will assume the role of acting vice president students. Tiffin, who has been a key member of Neuman's team, will continue the work begun in the division. A search committee is being struck to find the next vice president students and it is expected to complete its work by the end of April. An announcement of the composition of the committee will be posted shortly.

"Dr. Neuman has brought the University into a new standard of services for our students and Mr. Tiffin will continue this work," said Marsden in her statement announcing the transition. "Given the increasing emphasis on student satisfaction with their undergraduate experience, this division will continue to play a major role in the future of York University and our common success."
