The Art Gallery of York University is seeking video submissions by students and emerging artists for a series of screenings that will take place at the AGYU on Sept. 12, 13, 19 and 20. This is an open call (no set thematic) but works should be eight minutes or less and be in NTSC DVD or VHS format. Multiple submissions welcome. Submissions can be dropped off at the AGYU office, N201 Ross Bldg., by Sept. 1, 2005. Mailed submissions should be postmarked no later than Aug. 25, 2005.
Submissions should include:
- Copy of work with name, address, telephone number and e-mail;
- Title of work and running time clearly indicated.
Submissions may also include a CV, bio, or tape description but these are not required. All artists will be contacted via e-mail in early September with full program details and the exact time and date of screenings.
