Tentative settlements for three-year (2005-2008) collective agreements have been reached with the bargaining teams for CUPE Local 1356 (representing maintenance, services and plant operations employees) and YusApuY (representing office, clerical, laboratory and technical work employees).
The ratification vote for CUPE Local 1356 is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 21. The ratification vote for YusApuY is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 22 and Tuesday, Aug. 23.
This round of bargaining was characterized by mutual respect and good will.
