A funeral service will be held today for Eric Ostvik, a production controller in Client Services, Computing and Network Services, who died suddenly at home on Monday, Sept. 26, aged 56. Mr. Ostvik will be sadly missed by his colleagues at York, where he worked in computer operations for over 30 years. He enjoyed his leisure time, much of it spent on the golf course.
The funeral will be held at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West, Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling avenues) at 1 p.m. today. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
