York Is U has been named most outstanding organization and won three other regional awards from the Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP).
Jeremy Greenberg, coordinator of student alumni programs at York, and six York Is U directors accepted the prizes at the association’s District 2 conference at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania Feb. 17-19.
Greenberg said the awards prove what he's been telling people since he arrived at York as a student in 1998 and continues to emphasize as a member of York's student community and leadership development team: "York is the greatest University in the world! We proudly share this award with the entire York community."
