Want to get active without opening your wallet? Feel like dancing or swimming? In the mood for some yoga?
Recreation York is offering an opportunity for you to try out a host of activities. The Tait McKenzie Centre will be the site of York’s FREE Demo Week, Sept. 10-15.

A wide range of classes will be offered at no cost during the special week. Whether it’s dance, tennis, swimming or yoga, it’s all free for one week.
Activities for this week include the hip-hop challenge, kerala (Kararipaytu) and mixed martial arts/grappling.
Drop in to the Tait McKenzie Centre on York’s Keele campus to sample any of the classes listed below.

In addition to Demo Week, some exciting events are coming up at the Tait McKenzie Centre. Classes on women’s self defence, practical street defence, partner Shiatsu therapy and women on weights will be offered in the next two months.
