Arrest made following incident in Ross Building

York Security Services and the Toronto Police Service responded to an incident of threatening behaviour toward a York University staff member yesterday in the Ross Building at York University’s Keele campus. 

Toronto police resolved the situation and arrested a student community member. There were no injuries sustained as a result of the incident.

The suspect has been charged with the following:

  • mischief under $5,000
  • assaulting a peace officer
  • interference with property

The Toronto Police Service is continuing the investigation.
