Police investigate reported sexual assault in a public space on Thursday evening

The Toronto Police Service is investigating a report of sexual assault which occurred on Thursday, May 15, at approximately 8:40pm, at the south side of the Harry W. Arthurs Common.

At that time, a female reported being assaulted by an unknown male assailant in a public space.

The Toronto Police Service describes the suspect as follows:

  • Male, East Indian
  • heavy accent
  • approximately 40 to 50 years old
  • 5-foot-8-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall.
