Police charge 45-year-old man in two York sexual assaults

Toronto police announced yesterday that they had arrested and charged a suspect on Monday in the two sexual assaults that occurred in the Harry W. Arthurs Common on Sunday, March 16, and Thursday, May 15, 2008.

The Toronto Police Service (TPS) provided the following information about the arrested man:

Samir Kari, 45, of Toronto is charged with:

  • Three counts of sexual assault
  • Weapons Dangerous
  • Assault with intent to resist arrest
